Awana is a worldwide nonprofit ministry focused on providing Bible-based evangelism and discipleship solutions for children age 2 to 18. As the global leader in child and youth discipleship, Awana helps churches and parents work together to develop spiritually strong children and youth who faithfully follow Jesus Christ, no matter their background.

Here at WBC, Awana isn’t just a great ministry to our kids; it’s also a wonderful outreach to our community. Whole families learn the good news of Jesus’ love for them because of a child’s involvement with Awana.

Registration is open for the 2026/2027 Awana year, which runs September through April, and is open to all children age two through 12th grade. We meet Wednesday evenings 6:45–8:15pm in the Fellowship Hall.
