HISTORY
More than 100 years ago, a small group of Swedish-Americans began meeting regularly for Bible study and fellowship above an empty store in the Chicago suburb of Winnetka, Illinois. After three years, the growing fellowship was offered the use of a church building. In 1904, that small church began meeting every week, and March 2004 marked 100 years of continuous service to the Lord Jesus Christ. Today, we are a multi-staffed, multi-generational body with missionaries all over the world.
The church facilities are located in Winnetka, Illinois, a northern suburb of Chicago that rests on the North Shore of Lake Michigan. The church is made up of congregants from a widespread area, including the communities of Winnetka, Wilmette, Northbrook, Glenview, and Evanston.
