Home Fellowship Groups
What Is A Home Fellowship Group?
A HFG is a group of ten or fifteen individuals who meet together on a regular basis to discuss Scripture, pray, worship, and encourage one another in the Christian life. The Scripture lesson is based upon a study guide prepared by WBC pastors to focus on the topic of the next week's sermon passage.
Why Home Fellowship Groups?
The ultimate goal of life together at WBC is to glorify God. It has been well stated in Christian tradition that "the chief end of men and women is to glorify God and to enjoy the chief end of men and women is to glorify God and to enjoy Him forever."1 In keeping with this, our intention is to equip the members of our body to live life and exercise their spiritual gifts to that end.
