Winnetka Bible Church is located in downtown Winnetka at the corner of Elm and Birch Streets. (Birch Street is 2 blocks West of Green Bay Road.)
Directions from Evanston: Take Green Bay Road north into Winnetka. Change into right lane after passing Cherry Street. Green Bay curves left to a stop sign. (Stay on Green Bay by turning right at this stop sign.) Turn left onto Elm (at traffic light). Take Elm two blocks West, the church building is on the right on the corner of Elm and Birch Streets.
Pastor of Worship and Music
Keith McMinn Ext. 206
serves as our Pastor of Worship and Music. Originally from Chattanooga, TN, Keith studied and earned his Master's of Church Music degree from The Southern Baptist Theological Seminary where he was privileged to serve as professor's assistants to Dr. Esther Crookshank and Carl Stam. Keith was the 2003-04 recipient of the Phyllis Hereen Outstanding Music Graduate of the Year Award. He and his wife Joy met at Southern and were married in January of 2003. They enjoy serving the Lord together in God-centered, Christ-exalting worship. They have two kids, Jonah and Carly. Keith enjoys playing tennis, ping-pong, writing and arranging music for worship and spending time with family.

Director of Youth Ministries

is our Director of Youth Ministries. He is originally from New Jersey, and graduated from Moody Bible Institute with a Bachelor's degree in Pastoral Studies. Along with his responsibilities at the church, he is studying at Trinity Evangelical Divinity School. Ben and his recent bride, Adriana, live in Chicago and are enjoying the kindness of the Lord as they continually learn to love one another and the students He has brought into their lives. Ben blesses our congregation with creativity, energy, zeal, and a passion for Jesus Christ that is contagious.

serves as our Assistant Director of Student Ministries. Jesse directly oversees the Ignite Junior High and assists Ben in the overall ministry to the students on the North Shore. He has been involved with Ignite for the past four years, serving two as an intern. Jesse is a graduate of Moody Bible Institute with a degree in Youth Ministry. He loves students, snowboarding, and the Truth of God's Word.

Director of Children's Ministries

serves as our Director of Children's Ministries. Barb and her husband Wayne have three children: Kathryn, David, and Madeline. Barb grew up on the North Shore and graduated from Wheaton College with a B.S. in Biology and Secondary Education and minors in Math and Spanish. She has been actively involved in the ministries of WBC since her childhood, and still finds joy in seeing people come to know Christ through the message and mission of our church. Barb is especially excited to see the youngest among us embracing the truths of the Christian faith, and labors tirelessly to that end. You will see Barb greeting kids and parents here on Sunday mornings.

Pastor of Visitation

(Tuesdays & Thursdays)
is our Minister of Visitation. Originally from Norway via New York, Pastor Tory has been serving the Lord for many years. A resident of southern Wisconsin, Tory is with us on Tuesdays and Thursdays, helping our pastors and congregants with hospital and nursing home visits, neighborhood outreach, and evangelism – and always with a smile and a warm hug. Tory is loved by many in our community, and that helps our North Shore friends receive WBC’s message of Christ’s saving gospel. Tory and Flo have grown children and a host of adorable grandchildren.

Pastoral Intern
David Wenkel

is the current pastoral intern. He grew up in Wonder Lake, Illinois where his parents still live. Prior to coming to WBC, David led a group of college students who ministered in nursing homes on Sunday mornings. He has a M.A. in Christian Thought: Systematic Theology, a M.A. in Bible, and a Th.M in New Testament from Trinity Evangelical Divinity School. In his spare time David writes articles on theological issues and reviews books for several journals.
